How does ATR currently sell their products?

Due to the consultative nature of the healthcare patient feeding market segment and the need for specific expertise as it relates to the development of a patient meal delivery system solution that is contoured to the requirements of a specific operation, ATR has since its inception, used a direct sales force to respond to customers. This has limited ATR’s ability to respond to all prospective customers, and thus, the current RFP has been put forward to provide customers additional access to ATR products in response to a growing demand.

Does ATR have any foodservice dealer buying group and/or individual foodservice dealer affiliation (defined as preferred discounting, terms, and/or rebate programming)?

ATR has no previous or current established programming with any foodservice dealer buying group or an individual dealer member of a buying group.

Does ATR currently sell any of their products through foodservice dealers of any kind?

Yes, but these sales are typically after ATR has already been specified for a specific project in which the purchasing dealer has been contracted to handle the entire equipment package for the project. List price is typically provided for dealer requests for quotation.

What is the proposed length of the agreement term?

The initial agreement will be for a one-year term with the opportunity to consider renewal beyond the first year based on joint review and mutual agreement between both parties prior to the established agreement end date.

Will the online e-commerce dealer partner have the exclusive rights to the promotion and sale of all ATR products and how many individual SKU items is this?

Due to the unique aspects of specifying cook-chill/rethermalization system that requires a facility site visit, HVAC considerations, drawings that take room sizes into account, and many other factors, this equipment would be excluded from promotion and selling via an online e-commerce partner. With this exception as described, the majority of the product portfolio made up of equipment, reusable traywares, and disposables would be included in the agreement, and the awarded partner would have exclusive dealer rights to promotion and sale of ATR online.

What will the agreement’s payment terms and conditions be?

Net 30 days.

Orders greater than $50,000 require a 20% down payment at time of order with remaining 80% due net 30 days from invoice date.

What will be the pricing discount/rebate level?
  • Discount off of list will vary depending on product category (will provide pricing detail separately), understanding no other dealer outlet promotes/sells ATR products online presently and list price is commonly provided to dealers requesting quotation for projects that specifies ATR products.
  • Quarterly rebate of 3% to be paid on all purchases from the previous three months.
How will freight costs be handled both to distribution shipping points as well as the end-user customer?

Orders must ship six months or sooner from original order date. For orders with a ship date of greater than six months, they must be re-quoted.
